On March 21-22, 2016 3rd International Conference “Legal Reform and Enlargement of the EU – Transfer of Experience” was held at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb (Croatia) and a coordination meeting of the Tempus Project partner universities “Development of the Master’s Program in European and International Law in Eastern Europe - InterEULawEast”
National University “Odessa Academy of Law” was represented by Pro-rector for scientific work Mariana V. Afanasieva, Head of the Department of International Law and International Relations Nikolay I. Pashkovskyi, Head of International Relations Department Vadym R. Barskyi.
The main focus of the international conference was made on the formation of the Single European Digital Market. One of the most vivid and memorable was the report of the senior lecturer Nikolay I. Pashkovskyi on "Single Digital Market: New Opportunities for Crime and Justice".
As part of the coordination meeting, the representatives of partner universities discussed the results and shortcomings of the implementation of the project in 2015, and identified challenges for implementation of the Project in 2016. The contribution of the National University "Odessa Academy of Law" in the implementation of the Project and creation of an innovative master's program has been praised by all participants in the coordination meeting.
Also during the visit to the University of Zagreb a meeting of Prof. Mariana V. Afanasieva with Croatian colleagues was held, during which they exchanged their experience in the educational process of graduate students.
