On 4-6th of November at the National University "Odessa Law Academy" took place the 25th National Congress of the European Association of Law Students (ELSA Ukraine).

The Congress was attended by about 100 students-lawyers from all over Ukraine - Kharkov, Lvov, Poltava, Uzhgorod, Kyiv, Dnieper, Odessa, Irpin and others. Members of ELSA Republic of Moldova also visited the event.

National Congress is a statutory association event, during which important decisions are made regarding the operation and activities of the association, as well as members of the national direction are elected.
Professor Vyacheslav A. Tulyakov, Vice Rector for International Relations of the National University "Odessa Law Academy”, participated at the plenary session of the Congress. In his speech he told about the history and present being of Odessa law school, modern requirements for higher legal education.

Professor Vyacheslav A. Tulyakov particularly emphasised on the importance of the innovative English language master's program "International and European Law" for a new generation of Ukrainian law students, which created a team of National University "Odessa Law Academy" in TEMPUS IV project "Development of the master program in European and international law in Eastern Europe - InterEULawEast». He described aims, content, methodology and characteristics of the master's program.
